Architectural Sculpture

We are able to utilise our expertise in boatbuilding and GRP moulding to create architectural sculptures to customer specification.

In January 2010 Phoenix Marine were contracted by a civil engineering contractor and an independent sculptor to manufacture this unique GRP structure for installation in the sensory garden of a school. The doughnut sculpture is 2 metres in diameter with a reflective pearlescent finish, and was installed during March 2010.

The concept for the doughnut sculpture was created by Sculptor Sarah Rintoul, including the surface finish, which was specifically chosen to compliment aspects of the sensory garden.
